I'm wondering if anyone is having a Mariachi for their ceremony. I will have a catholic mass. My dad would like to book the Mariachi for the church and the reception. Any thoughts?

We are also have a Mariachi but it will be during cocktail hour or dinner - haven't decided which yet.  I love the idea and think it is a great idea to share your culture!  Very festive!!

I'm having it right after the ceremony during cocktail and into dinner with folklorico dancers. Having the Mariachi for the ceremony would be so nice! They are usually used for cocktail/reception so having it for the ceremony also would be great and at your church awe, beautiful amiga! 

From what I've heard they cost about $300+ an hour maybe even more....eek! Not cheap, but it so adds that nice latin touch to your wedding. 

I am having a mariachi for the ceremony and the cocktail/dinner time. I have gotten one before for about 400 dollars for 4 guys.  It depends on the amount of people in the mariachi and how many hours they get to play.  I wanted to know which songs they could play at the ceremony? do they play the processional?

I have been searching for mariachis and they are pretty much expensive...2 hr min for $450 an hr...

I love when they do the mass...sounds so pretty! I can only afford to have them at the reception...marriachis are expensive! I say if you can afford it GO FOR IT!!!

I was quoted between $250 to $350 an hour. Depending on how many mariachis you get.
