For those that got their licenses already, I have a question.  It says your ID has to have your "full legal name"  but is it ok if your driver's license just has your middle initial?  Will that be a problem? 

Also, are you supposed to put your new name on the license?  Did anyone do this?

My driver's license only has my middle initial, as a matter of fact, I don't think any of my ID has my full middle name.

And yes you put your new name on the license, not your original last name if you are going to change it.

so it was fine for you to just have the middle initial on there when you got your license?

Yeah, I didn't have any problems.

Thanks for the help!  I called them and they said it's fine as long as that is the name he fills out on the marriage license.
