Hello everyone! Goodness, it's been so long since I've been on the boards. Where does time go? :) I miss you all so much.

So a little over 3 weeks from now is our first year anniversary, I can't believe it! I'm trying to come up with an awesome paper gift for my DH. Please help me! (I realize I should have started thinking about this earlier but life has been crazy for us and the time got away from me).

Time is flying right by! I cannot believe how close you are to the 1 year mark---congrats!!

I recently decided that I am going to do a mixbook for my DH for our 1 year (not until Feb.) and fill it with photos and memories from our first year.

I also just found these ideas on Pinterest that I love:

i was thinking of doing baseball or basketball tickets for my DH. theyre paper! he isnt the type to appreciate a wall hanging, so i am going to have to get creative :)

Our original plan was to go back to Key West, and have plane tickets=paper. However, I kind of forgot that plan and booked a cruise for his 30th less than a month before our 1 year. Would love if we could do both, but I don't see it happening haha

Tickets are a great idea, and I am sure he will love them!! My DH will likely not even realize it is a paper anniversary and wonder why I have given him so many craft projects.

Missjess, I love the framed lyrics from our first dance idea. And yes, plane tickets = paper. I wish I could do that! But that's not going to happen.

I made sure to let DH know that this is the paper anniversary. He was confused so I told him maybe he should do some research. lol

kplusd, tickets are a great idea. I thought about that but DH isn't a sports guy. I thought about doing opera tickets (he loves it) or band tix.

BUT...

I think I found my gift. Indigo Night - you tell them a date and location and they make a personalized sky print for you of what the night sky looked like on that date. That's so cool! We are always looking up at the sky together and track the moon so I think this may be perfect.

Thank you! I hope so! :) I'm going to do our wedding night sky. We got married in Cincinnati and they have a really cool shot of it by the river with the city skyline. It's pretty awesome.
