The progesterone will be more helpful in creating the perfect growing environment for your baby. My RE pretty much said the same thing as beatie's RE. My progesterone level wasn't exactly low, but they did want to see it higher just to ensure
that I can carry the baby safely. So I'm taking prometrium twice a day to up my levels. The clomid is more to get your ovaries to produce a good follicle that will lead to ovulation. I think your MD didn't put you on clomid because you are able
to produce the follices and ovulate? Maybe ask your MD why he thinks clomid is not an option at this time?
