With our potential caterer, Chef Paul, on Sunday for a tasting.  I'm beyond excited!  Then we're going to meet with our potential photographer!  I'm hoping to get these 2 things booked and be done with the big items!

OMG!  Chef Paul is AWESOME!  They catered my friend's wedding and they're actually going to be doing our wedding cake.  Ginger is such a sweetheart and so accomodating and helpful!

How did your meeting with Ginger and the photog go today?

We had our tasting with Chef Paul today, we got to pick 10 items to try and we picked 3 different cake flavors.  Ginger was such a sweetie and totally put me at ease.  Oh my gosh, I can't say good enough things about the food!  It was so delicious!  I loved their italian salad, at first I was scared of trying it, I don't like really tarty things, but much to my surprise it was sweet.  The way they had everything presented was so professional.  Their cake were delicious.  I loved their carrot cake, yum yum.  We will definetly be booking with them!  And they're flexible with the deposit, which is a plus for us.

We meet with Danielle and we totally hit it off.  She is so down to earth and so sweet.  She answered all our questions and is totally flexible with the deposit, which is such a huge relief to us.  I like that there are no hidden costs with her and that she loves working with "real" brides.  That's another thing off the list!

I am so relieved to have all the big things taken care of now, its just a matter of the little details!

Yay!  I'm so glad it went well.  What cake flavor are you and FI going with?  Fi and I have chosen their pumpkin cake for the bottom two tiers, and the top tier will be chocolate and bavarian cream.  :) 

And yes, I agree that Ginger is a total sweetheart!  Did you tell Ginger that your a PW addict?  I actually posted a review for them a few months ago.  I bet she would have gotten a kick out of it that another PW bride came to them, as she had never heard of PW before!

And I'm glad things went well with your photographer too!

When is your wedding date again?  I'm serious about being there to help you if you need for set up.  Your venue is 5 min. from my house.  :)

@Lizzie-July 11 is our date.  We tried the carrot cake with cream cheese, the chocolate cake with raspberry mouse and choco buttercream and then the white cake with bavarian cream w/fresh strawberry and white buttercream.  I loved all 3 and we're thinking of doing all different flavors for the tiers.  She had mentioned PW and I told her I was on there!  She said that they're re-doing their website (its 15 years old) and promoting themselves on different wedding websites.

@Misshammy-Yes we are going to book with her, I just have to fill out the paper work and it'll be done!  We met her daughter and she was just too darling.  She had mentioned you with your wizard of oz theme! =)
