MIA putting out last minute fires

 I have been missing from the boards putting out all my many fires. Let me catch you up.

*Go pick up wedding dress Sunday and it is not ready. During the process of shortening my dress, all the pleating is missing and I was told this happened because I am so short. I was not a happy bride so cross your fingers my dress looks halfway the way I purchased it.

*Ordered cake topper in April having no idea that the person I ordered from off Etsy gets letters from someone else because of the fonts and she puts the rhinestones on herself.  She told me my order would ship on Friday, I would have it on Monday. Monday gets here and no topper. She never contacted me, I had to contact her only to be told that the C that was created looked like an O. WELL WHY DIDN'T SHE JUST TELL ME THAT???? So I go totally nuts on her and thank the heavens above, she overnighted the letters and I got them today.

*On a sad note, my Uncle Charles who is my father's brother passed away yesterday morning. My father is taking it very hard and so is my grandmother who has taken to her bed. Please pray for my family!

*My rehearsal was Friday and Cale asked his aunt three months ago to sing You Are when I come down the aisle because that song makes his heart beat faster and why ON THE DAY OF THE REHEARSAL SHE SAYS THE SONG IS TOO HARD, SHE IS NOT GOING TO SING IT, PLAY THE CD?????? But she wants to sing Celine Dion, Because You Love Me for the bridal party? Are you kidding me???? Why would you sing a solo for the bridal party and not the bride? Tressy not having it!

*Finally met with guitarist Sunday and Cale loves him! (sigh of relief) We decide that his aunt will not be singing and the bridal party will come down off of Waltz by Fernando Carulli. Why my bridesmaid Vicki tell me she is nervous, we didn't practice off the song and we are inconviencing the bridal party????? I told her bitch it is just music, this is my wedding you can stay your ass at home and wtf, MY UNCLE DIED YESTERDAY!!! Who cares about something so trivial? I hung up the phone on her and cut it off.

But through it all - I JUST WANT TO MARRY THE LOVE OF MY LIFE!

Tressy I am so sorry to hear about your uncle prayers are with your family through this hard time! I hope everything gets worked out for your big day!! HUGS!

Like you said dont let the small and trivial get to you....you ARE marrying the love of you life and at the end of the day that is ALL that matters. It will be a prefect day. Take care of yourself and those you love...the rest will come together

oh my goodness...praying for your family. And wow to everything else...so happy for you to marry your best friend and don't worry about what anyone else says!

It will turn out.  I promise.  These things are always NO FUN and stressful to start with, and then they end up being lovely and worth all of the madness.  You'll get through it girl!!

Take a deep breath--yes, things are super stressful right now, but so long as there is you, Cale, and the officiant, you have everything you need for a wedding.  But everything will turn out just fine.
