I think we have settled on a name for baby boy.  Declan.  But we can't find a good middle name.  Suggestions?

Aww, I love that name!  It sounds cute enough for a little one, but will definitely work as an adult as well. How about James?  Declan James sounds like a little gentleman :)

I love that name! So funny, I immediately thought of Declan James, too! It's a strong, handsome name ;-) I think since Declan is a unique name, a traditional middle name could work great. (James, Thomas, Charles, etc.) 

Of course, it might also depend how it works with your last name, too!

Unfortunately, James is the ONE name we will not use.  It is my FIL's name and he's pretty much a scumbag.  We've tossed around using John (my father and DH's stepdad's name) but we aren't sure....

I know I may sound weird but I think, with Declan, the middle name should be one syllable, like James or John or Sean.  So I do like the flow of Declan John!

I love Declan John or like Debbie said the use of a traditional name!! Declan John has my vote tho!!!

Oh boo on no James - it was my first thought too.  I think Andrew, Charles, and Thomas all sound good too.  I always like to yell the first and middle name together to make sure it sounds serious enough for when they get in trouble ;)

First off, I LOVE that name!! dorkmeetsnerd wrote what I was thinking. I am a syllables person. I agree that the middle name should be a 1 syllable name. Declan John sound sooo good! And its your father & DH's steps dad's name!
