DH and I renewed our vows back in August. We had a minister of course. We are having a second vow renewal (long story of why), anywhoo, I am now wondering if we should either:

A: Hire another minister

B: DH and I write vows to each other and just read the to each other with out an officiant

What do you think? It will be a private ceremony. Only me, DH and our daughter plus the photog.

Also, which ever one you choose, please explain why you chose that answer. It will be helpful to me. Thanks!!

Third time I wouldnt have a minister. You guys already had one for the first one, there is no room full of guest so its more between you two and you dont need a "MC" of sorts. The minister is usualy there to bless the union and to explain the symbolism.

Thanks. Actually, the first time we didn't have a minister. It was at the county courthouse, so it was performed by a clerk. Romantic I know...lol

Also, DH thinks doing it ourselves would be weird, I sort of think so too, BUT I ALSO think having a minister for a second time might be a huge waste of money.

We are having my best friend conduct our Vow Ceremony.  We had a family friend that was a pastor marry us the first time.  The reason why we picked her is because she was always a part of my life & was my biggest supporter when we were in the process of getting married.  I'm not a very traditional person anyway.  If I could conduct it myself I would....Then again it's your day & it's his day so maybe you should have someone do it.  Or just have someone say a word or something?  Does your daughter have any Godparents?  Maybe they could help :)

Fearce, we are not inviting anyone this time. Way too much drama the FIRST time we did our Vow Renewal. Hence the reason we are doing it again...lol...It will just be me, DH and our daughter. :0)
