So this past weekend was my Bach party and BM R drunkenly told me about another BM E's money woes in regards to my wedding. A little background: We were both in BM E's wedding this past August. And we spent a TON of $$$. I spent over $1K on her
wedding and I got a coach clutch as a gift.
My wedding
- Shower: My mom's asked for $25 plus whatever gift they wanted to get
- Dresses $160 with alteration included
- Bachelorette: $20 Ocktoberfest ticket (she didn't drink and she didn't stay at the hotel)
- Hair: FREE I'm paying
- Makeup: FREE I'm paying
Her wedding
- Shower: Her mom asked me for $150 plus $50 toward luggage.
- Dress: $180 without alterations...tack on another $40.
- Bachelorette: in Boston, parking was $40 hotel was $60 (per person) plus $25 booze cruise ticket (and then of course whatever drinks I wanted but that was on me) Dinner $30
- Hair: $50
- Makeup: $65

I don't know if she knows how much we spent on her wedding but her being in my wedding is a STEAL compared to hers! They can wear their own shoes. I'm paying for hair and MU. I bought flats for the reception. I made hangers, wine glasses, and
sugar scrub. They're getting MU bag emergency kits.
I guess it just hurts to hear?
