Primobride's post reminded me that I forgot to put up a few pics from our HM!
We went to Hot Springs, Arkansas for a few days, just to chill out and enjoy our first trip as a married couple. DH has wanted to take me to Arkansas ever since he went, and it was truly perfect for us. I'm not big on tropical
destinations, so this a good, inexpensive way to enjoy ourselves.
We had to go through part of the national park to get to our hotel; there was literally a stream running by the road!

The happy couple headed out for our first day; we hung out around the historic area of Hot Springs, taking in the shops, galleries, stopping by the historic Arlington hotel, taking a bath at one of the bath houses (so relaxing!) and after having
dinner, we went on a tour of the "haunted" areas of Hot Springs.

This is where we experienced our hot springs bath; no water heater required, as they draw directly from one of the many springs in the area. It was so relaxing and comforting just to kick back with DH.

We saw this little one in an antique shop--she was so cute!

Our second day there, we checked out the Garvan Woodland Gardens and spent HOURS there! We also took a quick trip to the Hot Springs Mountain Tower before heading back to recoop and get ready for our trip home.

This guy and another one were in full display when we arrived at the gardens.

The tulips were in full bloom and I took tons of pictures of them, but I'll just share one with you ladies.

They have a chapel on the grounds; even though I'm already married, I discovered my dream wedding destination...oh, to have had the ability to plan again...DH is already talking about thinking of that for a vow renewal.

And what HM recap would be complete with a rings shot?
