Basically I fell in love with the cake toppers from rainsend.com, but couldn't afford them, so I came across an article on PW where someone made their own, and I ran with the idea. Not an easy project, but I am proud of how they turned out. Just wanted to share!

Cute! How did you make the beaks?

Shutterbug - to make the beaks, I used white felt that I had cut into a diamond shape and then painted them the color I wanted them. While they were wet I was able to fold them into that shape. A little line of super clue on the inside of the fold held them in place, they aren't moving lol. Worked like a charm!
