I'VE BEEN A BUSY BEE~!
I think a couple people wanted me to post pictures of my shawl that I knit to wear at the wedding, so here they are.

I used the Purity pattern from Rowan 43 magazine and 2 balls of Rowan Kidsilk Haze in cream on size 9 needles. It is very light and warm - should work well for my November wedding. :)
I've also been working on semi-DIY wedding favors: mini skateboards and tea bags!

I bought the boards off a wholesale site online, tied them with yarn (because I like to knit), and printed out tags I designed. They read "Thanks for sharing this special day with us!"
We also got tea bag favors off Beau Coup, and I've been tying orange ribbons around them. (OK this one wasn't really DIY.)

Lastly, I ordered 500 silk roses off of eBay and made 10 pomanders to hang off of every other chair row at the ceremony.
