My Invites are complete and mailed!

We got the last of our invites made and sent out this morning. What a project that was! But we're happy with the end result. What do you all think? (click on the image to view it larger)

I'm just thrilled we needed only one .58 stamp! These babies were thick! After we added the ribbon to seal them (not shown), it made it really fun to get them in the envelopes. ;) Thank God for my FI! He rules.

I'll have to update my Knot Bio to show the photos of him assembling them. ;)

Just curious...What does the font (closed) look like?

Very cool Mandy. I think I'm going to make ours too when the time comes. Did you really do it because you're creative like that or to save money? I'd be doing it to be cheap personally. I just hope they come out half as decent as yours:) Great job!

its.nicsknack - Are you asking what the font looked like on the envelopes that we mailed? We used the Feel Script font (that was used for our names and in our monogram) in like size 36 or 48 to make it appear hand done. We printed them out through Joe's printer and they came out perfect!

Pixie - Well, I guess we did it mostly to save money and because I had a semi-vision of what I wanted and didn't find anything that was like it online or in the stores, without costing a fortune. But yeah, I'm cheap, too. Hee! Thank you! ;)

kohler - Actually, an awesome gal I met online (weddingbee!) made the map for me free of charge. She did the directions that went on the back, too. I'm not sure how she made it, but she sent the files over as a PDF and we just printed them. I'll see if I can find some other resources I had for maps that may of be some service for you when I get home. :)

Kohler, you can make a map in powerpoint or paint using lines, dots etc and the rotating function (very helpful) then you can click on the icon that says "group items" and it will make all the lines into one item on the powerpoint slide, then you can cut and paste it into any other application. Within paint just save the file as a jpeg and its an image that can be used in any application. Hope that helps, its an easy way to do it :)
