My Invites are complete and mailed!

Was it Phyllis of Sweet Paper Design by chance that did them for you?

kohler - you're half right. She did the monogram, but not the maps. That was from another person who contacted me and offered to help when I was inquiring on how to do them originally.

However, Phyllis is doing all our stationary for the wedding (sans the invites). I'm helping her build up her portfolio for her business and she's already shown me amazing work from the proofs she's emailed us.

I'm blown away by her talent and generosity. And I see that you're using her, too! She's so nice! I can't wait to see how your invites turn out with her. We would of had her do ours, but I couldn't imagine imposing that on her so suddenly, and we had already accomplished a lot by the time I was in contact with her.

Oh cool! Im so excited to be working with her, we should be starting mid to late April, she seems like such a doll! Oh good, Im so glad I know someone else that is using her and loves her! Well, I am anxious to see how your stationary comes out, please do post pics and I will post too as soon as I have the designs. :)

Oh, I'll definitely post whatever she comes up with to share and promote her. She's got a real eye and a great aesthetic for design.

She's already shown us the table cards and a semi-proof of the program. I hope to see more, soon!

I have a question. I LOVE your wedding logo. DId you design it. My FI and I have a wedding logo we want to design. I wanted to know what program to use or how you created your logo with the birds and the tree etc. Thanks in advance!

flour - Aww, thanks! Well, actually, I really just inspired my stationary designer to create it. I showed her a lot of examples of other monograms and details that I came across and provided her with the Feel Script font for our name.

My guess is that she purchased the vectors for the birds and trees. A good place to check out is istockphoto.com or just do a google search for "vector" stock photo, tree, birds

Its so nice to be done with the invites isnt it? Not that I am not in love with mine...but it definatly takes some time....congrats...yours are lovely.

Now, you get to know the feeling of looking forward to the mail every day.....and finding an RSVP!!!!

Have fun with the mail everyday! FI and I always want to get the mail first (and I used to never get it) and then make sure that we have opened an equal share. :) It is so much fun!
