Ever since I've worked at David's Bridal, I've been mentally planning my big day.
I want a winter wedding. Not in December, though! I think December weddings are a little too much. It's the Holiday season, people are
shorter on cash, and I feel like if you have a wedding in December you MUST have red as one of your colors. No offense to anyone who's wanting/is getting married in December!
Me and Joe's anniversary is January 19. The next
time the 19th is on a Saturday is in 2013. Am I willing to wait THAT long? Probably not. But I would like our ceremony to be around that date.
For flowers, I'm thinking carnations, roses (the usual, haha!). But I
may change my mind. And for the centerpieces at the reception, I want frosted branches or the flower-ball things in a vase? I can't remember what they're called. They look like this:

Stick that in a vase, and that's exactly what I'm looking for! Maybe the carnations in a darker, richer color?
Anything else wintery would be great too. I'm thinking black, white and silver as my main colors with touches of cranberry.
I already have my dress picked out. I'm hoping it will be on sale by the time I want to buy
it. I believe it's $899 right now. Here it is!

It's a light ivory color, with ruching (which made my waist look tiny, and my boobs a wee bit bigger!), and the beading and
lace is to DIE for! I tried it on before I put in my two weeks! I'm sure they have better things out now, but this dress is always on my mind! It's an A-line (which is perfect for my pear-shape), and I can never say no to lace!
That's all I can think of at the moment. I'm sure once I'm actually engaged I can finalize these plans.
Joe mentioned buying me a promise ring for our anniversary, so keep your fingers crossed ladies!
