Critics choice catering is amazing :o) they'll do our wedding on 11/11 :o) The Ritz, Malibu west and Mission Inn are beautiful venues :o)

I'm not sure if you are looking for a caterer, or if you need a venue that will allow you to have your own caterer.  If you are looking for a venue (like I think you are) then I can tell you that I loved having my reception here:  http://cityofmissionviejo.org/DepartmentPage.aspx?id=1572

They provided tables and chairs with the fee, and set them up however you specified to them.  They were inexpensive and it's beautiful there!  Here are some of my personal pictures that I took prior to the wedding:

I'm getting married at Golleher Alumni House in Fullerton.  They allow you to bring in everything!  I've had such a great experience working with Karlos! 

I had to find a place that would let us cater our own food, had to be Indian food specifically. I had my engagement party at Imperial Palace in Pasadena (www.pasadenabanquethall.com) and they allow you to bring your own caterer and liquor, very flexible!

And I am having my wedding reception at Arbat Hall in Burbank (http://burbankbanquet.com/index.html) , it's also the same with them, byo caterer and liquor. Both beautiful places! Good Luck!
