So....I went off my BC in Sept.

I had one cycle regular as usual but AF didn't show up this month.  I tested a few times and I just got BFNs....

so any input as to what's going on?  LOL  Could it just be that I don't have a regular cycle yet?  And if you don't have a regular cycle, then how the heck are you ever supposed to know when your OV day is??

TTC is confusing sometimes!  :)  Makes you wonder how some ppl are so lucky as to get PG by accident......

AF didn't show?  How late are you?  It just could be that you O'd really late.  It's pretty common to have some long cycles after you come off BC.  Or you could have not O'd at all.  That happens too sometimes.

If you want to know when you O then I suggest charting.  It's really not that complicated and there are some really user friendly tools out there (fertilityfriend.com) that will help you chart.

You should read the book taking charge of your fertility.  It will answer so many questions that you didn't even know you had.  :)

After I went off BC, my cycle increased to 32 to 33 days so it's totally deceiving!  I went thru the same thing and thought I was pregnant... but it's just due to my cycle being longer not being on BC.

you can also buy these opk sticks ovulations tests they come from walmart they are answer brand and you can pee in a cup and test the urine every day if you want to and it will let you know when you are getting ready to ovulate and the day you are. They work similar to preg test they show a control line as well as test most of the time there is just one line adn then when close to o date u start to faint see a 2nd line and it gets darker and darker until you see the 2 double line and then you know you have
O i have to do this every cycle as i am on a fertility medicine called clomid and it can make ure schedule screwy so i have to test everyday they are around 17.00 bucks at walmart

So AF still never came and I'm not sure why, but I decided just to go buy a test and make like quadruple sure that we weren't PG and I GOT A BFP!!!!!

In TOTAL disbelief right now!!!  I tested after 6 days of AF not showing so I never even suspected!!  WOW! :)
