Hello Ladies,

I've been trying to find a way to create a monogram sheet for my uplighting. I have reserved 4 Par 64 uplights and I own one Par 38 uplight. I would like to use the monogram sheet for my Par 38. Is there a way that I can create the monogram on a transparent sheet and it will reflect on the wall through the par 38 uplight?

Unfortunately you can't use a par38 for a gobo because you need a light that you can focus. A par can gives you a broader spread of light making it ideal for adding a color wash to a wall or area. Because of the broad beam it's impossible to project a crisp, focused monogram. There are more details on why and alternatives here http://www.controlbooth.com/forums/lighting/924-gobos-pars.html.
