By inexpensive I mean $500-750 (perferbably closer to $500). I already contacted Karen Huckleberry designs, but she's booked on my date :(. Any other suggestions?

Where in the bay?

What are you planning to have the florist provide w/ that budget?

You try floral arrangement classes - the instructors may be able to suggest a "student" that could do it for that amount!

Im not in the bay area. I'm planning a Sonoma wedding from NYC.
I'm not having a bridal party, so I think l'll need:
a bouquet
3 bouts
2 corsages
6 low centerpieces
cake flowers
and possibly petals for the aisle.
Is this alot for my budget??

Do you have a coordinator/planner?  Maybe she can recommend someone to you.  I think you're asking for a lot of items for your budget - especially if you're trying to get closer to the $500 range.  Have you thought of having non-floral cp's?  That would help you cut back a lot on costs.

That's a lot for that budget, Huckleberry Karen wouldn't have been able to accomodate that either. Depending on how you would want the centerpieces to look you might more than eat up that budget with wholesale flower costs. Maybe you can cut back a little somewhere else and stretch the budget to at least $1000. For example I spent $150 for just flower petals on the aisle, this was the best deal I could find (my florist wanted $300 for this so I decided to arrange it myself).

Thanks ladies. My absolute max would be about $850.  I could cut the corsages/ bouts (except FI's) and aisle petals, so it would probably be six low centerpieces, a bouquet, a bout and cake flowers. I contacted flowers by Anne and she said she quoted me around $600 (which is great) , except I have to pick up and set up everything myself, which I'm trying to avoid (but with my budget I don't think I can lol).

I'll let you know how it turns out.

Demy - oh I think my florist can TOTALLY do what you need for your budget!

Her name is Lan and her company is H&L Photography and Flowers. She works out of her house, which means not much overhead...which means cheaper for us! She does really nice work, but she doesn't have a website - only has albums of her stuff at her house. But you can check out some photos on yelp too. I'm not sure how much she charges to go to Sonoma, as she's in San Jose. Doesn't hurt to ask though!

Here are her yelp reviews: http://www.yelp.com/biz/h-and-l-photography-and-flowers-san-jose. Her email is huonglan_nguyen@yahoo.com (Please let her know that Christine referred you. :-) )

Also, you may want to check Floral Design Studio in Fremont. I met with her, but decided to go with Lan. Nona's stuff is great and she has been known to work w/in a budget also.

I wanted to thank you ladies for all of your suggestions and especailly those of you who pm'd me and/or gave me referrals . I have contacted a few vendors and am I happy to say that most of them were able to accomodate my budget. For the most part I'm getting estimates in the $575-625 range and most include all the items I listed in first post. Some actually include a bit more (yay!). I'll let you know who we decide to go with soon.

Edit to add: We are going with Floralisa. I'm so excited.
