It's great that you're looking for high protein snacks - as that's what will keep you full!!

But, it can be hard (as you've discovered) to find protein snacks that don't seem more like meals (i.e. eggs, tuna, cottage cheese).  So, what I've done to fill up on protein, taste great, and fill me up till meal time tends to be a protein shake.  I found a "women's formula" one at GNC that's low in calories and VERY low in sugar, but has a ton of protein.  (I'm actually in the process of moving right now, so I don't have the name of it in front of me).  It calls for 3 scoops, but I usually do 1-2, either with water (which is okay) or with almond/soy milk for ANOTHER protein boost, and tastes great!  Depending on whether you're calculating sugars, throwing in a couple pieces of fruit makes it even better (I have the chocolate flavored one), and some ice to make it more milk-shakey.

Hope that's an idea for you!  Good luck!

Have you looked at snacking on nuts? We have a bag of pistachios here at the house that I can't get enough of! Good calories and good protein!

I also make little apple sandwhiches by slicing up an apple and then taking two of the slices. In between the slices put a mixture of peanut butter and granola in it. I even add a few chocolate chips sometimes to help with any cravings.
