Ok...as you all know I am just starting out in the photography stuff.  I thought last night would be a great chance to ge some practice at some night shots.
We went down to downtown Dallas for the window reveal at NM.  Here are a couple of my shots...oh, did I mention it was POURING down rain?  I was soaked~ No umbrella but a ton of fun!

Of course I have NO idea what any of this means ;-) Suggestions are WELCOMED!! In fact....encouraged.

LOVE the lights and pyro display shots too!  Did you use a tripod for any of them?

I think they look pretty darn good! I think #4 and the last two are the best of the bunch! I feel like they're well composed and the lighting is neat. On the last one, I do feel like its a little dark bu I think that the lovely colors shining on the tables and the interesting composition makes up for that.  :)

WOwo!  Those displays are INCREDIBLE

That said - these came out great - much better than your last attempts at nights/lights photography.

Wow your photos are great!  You're a handheld master now lol!   I like the display photos, especially the last one.  I also like the photo with "ice cream" on it-- nice composition.
