Hey :) so I'm new here, and still a virgin. My FH and I are saving ourselves for our wedding night (so yeah, hes a virgin too). Guess like most brides, I'm pretty nervous for the big night. Its not really that I'm afraid of the pain (I've heard with foreplay its not so bad), I just want to be sexy instead of self-conscious and amateurish. As a newbie, I dont really know what I should be doing during the act and the old peice of advice "close your eyes and think of england" just doesnt seem very useful, lol. I want our wedding night to be a night to remember so I guess my question is, what advice would you ladies give me for making my wedding night sexily fantastic?

Don't be afraid!! The first time isn't that bad. It might hurt a little, but it gets better! Bringing lube might be a good idea, and you can be really sexy about using it! And trust me, as soon as you get started you won't even have a second to be thinking about it. You just have to get into it (not difficult to do) and it will all work out!

Major kudos to the two of you for saving it to marriage! ;) You're gonna have a fun night, trust me!

Oh, don't worry! I think that the love and excitement you two will be sharing will far outweight any nerves. I agree on a little lube, but that's nothing to do with your lack of experience, and just the fact that most people need it- it just feels so much better with it! Just take your time and enjoy the experience, he will too. It's going to be fantastic in an of itself, and as you two get to know each other's bodies better, you'll get in to the crazier stuff later- no worries! Don't close your eyes and distance yourself, live in that moment and enjoy every bit of it!

That's so great you're waiting! I waited until I was 20 (I just turned 21) and it was fantastic. SO happy I waited for me and for the perfect guy :) I was really nervous but once it got going I just kind of knew what to except and what I was supposed to do and what was supposed to happen. This is your FH, so he is going to be super gentle and aware of your reactions. I know you said you're not worried about the pain, but I was! I was terrified, but then it just happened and didn't hurt at all. Everyone's body is different though. So... to wrap up that rambling: it doesn't hurt. when the time comes to do it, you will just know what to do. It's a wonderful experience. And honestly I don't think lube is necessary as long as you have foreplay. Good luck!!!

It's so awesome that you waited until you were married! It's okay to be a little nervous before it happens, I know I was LOL I agree with Jenny...don't close your eyes, it will detach you from the moment. Also using a little lube could be helpful since you will be pretty tight (hope this doesn't offend you), it will make things go a little smoother. Also, to make yourself feel sexier I would invest in some lingerie that makes you feel feminine, sexy, and confident. Good luck and have fun! ;)

honestly even though i dont drink , having a drink would help too not that im really suggest it but if you get to that night an you cant calm down it is a good last resort

Thumbs up to you all over the place!  I will echo the other girls, in that it really doesn't matter about the specifics.  You love each other, and by that point your love for one another will be just about boiling over.  That's sort of how I always imagined it would be when I lost mine...in a way it sort of was.  I waited for some time, and I'm glad that I did, and I don't speak with my ex to whom I lost my virginity, but that moment was special for what it was.  It's a good memory to have. 

I have no doubt that yours will be amazing.  I also agree - a glass of wine or champagne to help celebrate (or maybe even slight tipsiness from the reception?) is totally appropriate.  Don't overdo it though (which I'm sure you already know). 

If you really wanna go all out, some scented massage oils can be really really nice (and in the post-wedding hotel room you won't have to wash the sheets, either!).  As far as lubrication goes, I am a big fan of Astroglide over other brands. 

Yes, it will be special, it will be wonderful, it might hurt a little, but it will be a magical night for you both.  :)  I am excited for you!
