~ ~ NEW BRIDES-TO-BE - SOUND OFF ~ ~

i guess i'm one of the "oldies" on here - i've been here since April or May of 2008 (i cant even remember) and have seen many gorgeous PW hotties "graduate" from fiance to beautiful bride...and as the weeks and months go on - we are seeing more and more of our on-line sisterhood who will go from checking "single" to "married" on their tax forms =)   it's really been fun seeing all the planning then one day - seeing pics of their special day and h-moon!! 

How many newbies are in the house??

it's ok if you normally lurk - but step out and intro yourself and a little bit about your wedding, your fh, your dress, etc... anything!!

I did the same as willi...just jumped in. I'm a knottie too and came across PW somehow and LOVE it!

We are from Chicago. I'm in HR and he's a Project Manager for a cellular company. We met while I was in college.

Our wedding is 9/12/09, and I'm a planning addict! We are having a champagne, pink, and silver wedding. I've got most of my vendors picked up with the exception of a videographer and transportation.

I'm planning on DIY invites, programs and menus. We are also doing a candy buffet.

Hey, I haven't introduced myself yet either.

Im a 22yr old Psyc student in the last year of my degree from Australia, will be marrying my high school sweetheart Nov 09 who is a mechanical engineer. We have been together almost 6 years and have been engaged since Christmas last year.

I somehow discovered PW a little while ago for all the wedding pics and inspiration, and found the forums much more friendly than the wedding sites back here.

I so far only been dress shopping once and I am almost certain I have found "the one" but will still keep looking for a while. I definately got that bride-y feeling when I put on this dress...

And our wedding theme will be grey, cream and coral - with maybe a berry-pink tone.
