We need a new couch SO bad. DH has had our current couch for about 8 years, and it is a tan microfiber. The cusions are flat, the springs on one side are completely collapsed and it is just a pain. I hate it. {I also hate it because it isn't "ours", he purchased it with his first wife, then his troll of an exgirlfriend sat her ugly butt on it...I'm petty ;)}

Last week I found the deal of a LIFETIME on a gorgeous sectional. DH however was not having it. We hadn't been planning to buy one yet and money is kind of tight with our BIG payment for DH's vasectomy {Edit* Vasectomy REVERSAL* how did I leave out that?!} coming up. I finally convinced him to at least look at it and last night at 1am I messaged the sales lady to put it on hold. Just a bit ago she told me she told it this morning. I was SO upset.

My Mom called and asked if I wanted to hang out on Saturday and I said sure. And she asked if I wanted to do something and I said nah, not really. And she suggested going to get an early birthday present...THE COUCH!!! She called my Dad and they split the cost and! also got us end tables and a coffee table. I haven't been able to stop crying haha

Yay Jess!  I feel the SAME way about our couches (although I bought ours when I was single - they SUCK!)

I hate couches too! The one in our sitting area is wonderful, but it is only used when we have guests, but the one in our great-room is just annoying!! I just can't get comfortable on it, everyone tells me how lovely it is but it drives me crazy! I can't get a new one yet though because this isn't even 2yrs old yet!

That is a great deal! I'm couch shopping too, we still have the furniture from our college apartment lol!

BRAND new.  I keep like freaking over the deal, it makes me love it more haha
