Hey ladies!  I've loved gardening for a while and so happy when I met FI and we have gardened together for the last 7 years!

Last year, our deck was crushed by a down shear that knocked down 7 trees on our property (strong gust of wind that is very isolated).  My tiny strawberry pot was destroyed so my mom splurged on this big one for me.  Last summer it didn't have enough time to grow any berries but this year....

STRAWBERRIES!!!!!!

Including this new strain of Photographers' strawberry I call the "Tripod" (ok, bad joke, I'm a photographer)!

Strawberries, aaaahhh - so yummy! I love the photos! I think you need to come to Florida and photograph my garden so it can look half as good as your strawberries! :)

Btw, sorry to hear about your tree nightmare! I'm glad you got a bigger strawberry jar out of the deal ;)
