I am reading through your posts and alternating between laughing and crying! I'm apparently not alone! I am getting married on 10/16/10. I am so overwhelmed and stressed out with the planning; if my FMIL and FFIL were't so excited, we'd elope! Everything from my embarrassing family, my spur of the moment choices for MOH and BM's, and + 1's has me wanting to crawl under a table and hide until it's over! It's reassuring to see that it's not all rainbows and glitter for every other bride but me! Thanks? ;) 

Welcome!  I have said the same thing about eloping if it was not for the fact that my FI has never been married.  It does have some great moments, but I keep telling myself that we are doing this for our dear friends and for each other, and that seems to help me.
