I just changed my date to Sept 10,2010. I was susposed to get married March 27,2010. But I had to change the date. So now I am wondering what are some ideas for a fall wedding?

I am lost about what colors to do now?

What kind of Centerpieces?

I am so lost. I was going to have a themed wedding but now that my date has changed, my theme doesn't really fit the season.

HI!!! I was just going to tell you to join this group!!! Welcome to September Brides!!! O BTW, you only get married once... I think you should keep whatever theme you choose... ;)

I am doing alot of warm tones...chocolate brown, taupe, ivory...and LOTS and LOTS of candles!!! 

You see alot of fall brides using oranges, reds, yellows to really compliment the season.  I am a big fan of cranberry, champagne, ivory.  I will look around from some inspiration boards for you and post as I find them!

Pumpkins are pretty popular too - a good friend of mine had her monogram carved into it and it looked great.  I dont have pics but I am sure you can get the idea...I will look around for something similiar!

Did you take engagement photos?  You could always use some of them for your STDs.

Here KLD, we are getting married in September as well, and here are some things we are using, (of course its a work in progress) We are doing a harvest/rustic theme, our colors are red and gold.

We are getting married in September (obviously), but are not doing "traditional" fall colors. We are doing things our own way with the date that worked, the colors we like, etc. That being said, we are going with Green and Black and will pick a third color once we decide on flowers... I say go with whatever theme works for you and your FI, who cares if it isn't "fall-y" as long as it represents you! :)

Jays girl those are great. I am trying to choose between red and gold or orange, brown w/ green accents. But I haven't made up my mind.

  Hmm.. I think Red and gold is beautiful, actually thats the colors FH and I are doing, I think orange and brown with green accents are beautiful as well. Thanks, I hope they help, I got that stuff at Joanns. :) Um.. I think definently reds, coppers and golds are always good colors for fall.. also I LOVE chocolte brown. (was going to do that color too but it's just going to be 2 confusing for us to have 3 colors.)

KLD we're date twins!

Mine is Sept 18 but I don't think of this as fall. Technically fall won't start until for a couple more days so I prefer to think of it as an end of summer wedding. I'm using purple just because I like it (and FI doesn't object). You should go with whatever kind of wedding you had pictured.
