So I just found out last weekend that we are expecting our first baby due August 9th :) and honestly ever since I found out I was pregnant I have had (TMI alert!) Diarrhea. :( like at first it was just a little more than I often go and now it's almost like anything I eat or drink goes right through, I'm miserable :( is this normal or has anyone else experienced this?!

Yet another joy of pregnancy!! Hormones will do all sorts of crazy stuff!

Congratulations - wishing you a happy, healthy pregnancy xxx

Congrats on your bfp and welcome to the group! We're glad to have you here :) and yes that is normal. unfortunately I've experienced that on a couple of occasions so far myself, but mostly it's been the opposite for me (constipation-- ick!). Your body does all kinds of wacky things during pregnancy!

Welcome & congrats! I remember my first month or so things moved more easily then they had in the past, however it quickly switched to the exact opposite :(

welcome and yes it's normal but it won't or shouldn't last for long.  Just keep hydrated.  It will switch once you start on prenatals (the iron in the prenatals cause the opposite effect- constipation).

Thank you ladies :) it's good to know I'm normal! Everything I read online says I should be constipated and I am NOT having that problem lol hopefully it'll go away soon. And I have started my prenatals, I take the Vitafusion gummy ones. I've been taking them for a week and its only gotten worse.

First pregnancy I was constipated and this pregnancy is the opposite. I'm 26 weeks and still having horrible tummy issues. My midwife says some women just react that way- it's worse when I have lots of dairy or sugar so I have limited those. Fwiw first pregnancy was a girl and this is a boy- and they are so different. I think out bodies just react to the hormones in weird ways.
