So, my DH says that we get to have the newlywed title for a year.  I know there's no hard & fast rule... but I thought it'd only be for 3 months or so?

I've also heard that you're "newlyweds" for the full first year...

a year...I've even heard some say 2!

i'd definitley say at least a year... because you're experiencing a year full of "firsts" as husband and wife!

it depends on who is saying it! for example, my great aunt has been married for 50years, she calls everyone newlyweds, even if the couple has been married for 5 years!

I'm going to be a newlywed for as long as I want! haha j/k. I'd say it's okay to be a newlywed for under 5 years. haha.
