Newlyweds: POLL

1) How long have you been married? 12 days!
2) Kids? BOTB? TTC? Uh-uh, no way, not for AT LEAST 3 more years! Or maybe 5...
3) Did you take your husband's last name or keep your own? I'm taking his.
4) If yes to #3, how long did it take you to officially change your name? I'm working on it! It's such a pain. =)
5) What is the biggest suprise about married life? That everyone immediately started asking when we were going to have a baby!
6) What hasn't changed at all? Us - we're so happy.
7) Now that the wedding is over, what are you "planning"? The honeymoon! Also, we're trying to get our place back in shape - between neglecting it pre-wedding and the deluge of gifts, there's a lot to do. And merging our finances is a big project too (but not as fun as the wedding!).

I should probably wait to do this but... I can't resist!

2)Babies? No. No. And no. I want to have a little fun first.
3)Did you take your husband's last name? Not yet but I will as soon as I get to it. He gave me an Amex with my "official" name on it.
4)If yes to #3, how long did it take? It's a yes but I have to order those official copies.
5)Biggest surprise about married life? How easy it is. How exhausted we were after the wedding. I looked at him yesterday and asked if this is how it always is going to be... with my best friend every day, doing the things I love... It's pretty nice having him with me all the time.
6)What hasn't changed? Everything has changed for me, pretty much. New husband, new city, new house, no car, waking up next to someone every morning.
7)What are you "planning"? Getting the boxes unpacked and the house organized. Figuring out budgets... Putting the wedding scrapbook together. LOTS.

1) How long have you been married? 6 months this Thursday (June 26th)

2) Kids? BOTB? TTC? Oh...I have a 13 yr old daughter from a previous relationship, my husband has 4 kids from his previous marriage... and we would really love to have a love child :)

3) Did you take your husband's lastname or keep your own? I took his - kept my as a middle name.

4) If yes to #3, how long did it take you to officially change your name? I did it as soon as we received our American marriage certificate...

5) What is the biggest suprise about married life? That I feel even closer to him now... I didn't think it was possible :)

6) What hasn't changed at all? Our love, the physical and mental mutual attraction..the fun we have and the things we do together!

7) Now that the wedding is over, what are you "planning"? We're having a party for 50 of our "closest" friends in the end of August...the theme is love, happiness, friendship, tapas, wine and music!
