If you read today's Philly.com, in the wedding section the most notable headline is "Urban Outfitters to start a wedding brand" 

So it looks like they are going to start a 6th brand. I really like the idea of regular retailers making more affordable dresses. What do you think of national retail chains like JCrew & Ann Taylor making wedding dresses? Is this a new trend for the industry?

from consumers' point of view, i think it's great to have more affordable options from brands we use for everyday wear (supposedly also simpler and more comfortable wear). it also represents the trend that more and more brides are not limiting themselves to traditional wedding routes.
