Not much of a shoe girl....

Personally I've never really cared about shoes. Being plus size and almost 5'9" tall a girl can look rather strange in huge heels. Not only will I look strange but it's a safe bet I will stumble and land face first on the floor.

I see all these lovely shoes girls have bought, or are customizing to look fabulous on their big day but I just went and bought myself some standard flip flops... Not only is it the logical way for my clumsy self to go but it's cheap as well (paid 7 bucks for these beauties that match my colors)

Personally I ve never photo 3022289-1

Am I the only bride going the simple route with shoes? Should I be embarassed of my choice...?

You should not be embarassed by your choice because it is your day! You shouldn't change who you are to fit any tradition. Make it fit you- if you are not really a shoe person and would feel more comfortable in flip flops GO FOR IT! Not everyone was made to be comfortable in heels and trust me- it takes a whole lot more practice to walk, dance, and stretch them out.

Be proud of your shoes and rock them! Don't let anyone tell you anything less!

I love the flip flops. I may stand at the alter in some wedges or heels for the hepl with posture, but as soon as that part is over, it's to the flip flops. I hope to DIY some really cute.

Great shoes are great shoes- even if they are flip flops! They look wonderful, btw.

Flip flops are becoming quite popular, and those are so cute!  My ceremony and reception are in the same place, and because I am most comfortable barefoot, that's the way I'm going.  And it's going to be an excuse to show off my cute pedi!
