We're in the process of decorating our baby nursery and thought I would share pics of the transformation my DH has done already to the room.  We wanted to make built-ins that would grow with the house... I think he did a great job! 

Before:  When we bought the house the room was "blue"... I couldn't stand it.  The previous owners even painted all the molding and window edges dark blue!!   I had decided to just work with it until we decided to change it into a nursery. (I rarely went into this room lol)

After I made it into a guest bedroom.

Nursery {In-Process}: DH worked super hard to construct a built-in window seat with bookcases as well as modified lighting.  Honestly, when I married the man I knew he could build... but I had no idea!!  He also installed board and batten.  I helped with painting.  I chose a more aqua color for the room and yellow for the closet. :) Had to go and paint all the molding back to white too.. sheesh!

It looks beautiful so far! I can't wait to see it when it's completed. Yay!

this is just wonderful!! Congrats on your pregnancy. I had no idea. Sheesh, I need to not be away from PW for too long, or else I miss out on my buddies!! =)
