I'm really LOVING the sock monkey theme, very fun and prefect for a baby !

I'm stuck on Sock Monkey. I am going to start looking for items online and in the stores that will match the theme. I am going to sit with DH and see if he has something else he likes. He usually leaves the deocrating up to me for stuff like this but his input is needed because it will be a month into having the room done and he'll be like "I Liked the Vintage Car or Golf Theme" and then the room will almost be done with something else lol

I had a dream about your nursery Soontobe... You were holding your sock monkey (That was baby size) and were rocking it back and forth and then the baby was in a sock monkey sleeper.. lol Weird pregnancy dreams..

And I hope your DH loves the theme you choose!

Vegas, are you on my wave length because I had a dream similar the other night where I was rocking my sock monkey and Noah was looking at me like "give it to me, it's mine!" lol
I am finding some SM items online - the crib bedding is not cheap though! I'll keep looking.

I plan to start painting the house this month and then I can move right into painting or adding some extra "pop" to his room! :)

DH has a thing for changing his mind after I've done all of the planning so when I asked him again to make sure he said "I thought we said Sock Monkey, that's cool as long as we don't have to paint the room". lol
I told him I will touch up the room and add stenciling (the kind that peels off once you want to change it) and hang up some items I want to make for the room.

I'm so happy we have a theme! Finally! And I even went to TJ Maxx with a friend on Saturday and we found tons of Sock Monkey stuff marked way way down. Wish I had bought it now lol

I just found the cutest outfit for a newborn baby in the sock monkey theme!
I just bought one for a newborn.

It's a knitted hat and diaper cover w/ a tail sewn into it.
