Has anyone made picture frames? My daughter is a budding photographer and she got an idea for christmas gifts with her photos. the photos will be panoramic and the frames are pricey. I was reading online and the diys I found said it cost about $50 to make after you get acid free stuff and then you have to get placstic or glass to go in front. I found this but does ot need a frame? I don't know how to display(?) it.

Wow - what a great DIY for displaying photos!  If you're using tiles, you could probably buy those wooden or plastic frame display holders (the ones that fold in half that you use to display plaques and such).  If you're wanting to display them on the wall, I'm sure you can get hooks from the hardware store to glue onto the back with a strong adhesive.  Of course, these are all just suggestions - I've never actually tried this, but it looks like an awesome idea!!

You could also try and refurbish old picture frames you have lying around...flea markets are great for that as well!  :)  HTH.

I've done tiles like that before! They are actually very easy and display really nicely! I usually just display them on the display holders Mica mentioned :) Her other suggestion would also work! Just make sure you use a very strong glue, like E6000 or something so the hook never falls off :)

I love photography and have some awesome wedding photos. We didn't make them ourselves but we used http://www.hospitalityframes.com. I dont know if that helps but they have awesome themed frames.
