So I've got that post-wedding itch to do something different with my look. I've been growing my hair out for a couple years (it grows quite slow) and I love the look of long hair on me so I'm not going to cut it... I also have my natural hair colour now which is a medium brown with reddish tints. I like having my hair it's natural colour, especially since it's very dry, but I'm dying (literally lol) to change it up. I bought a box of semi-permanent dye that last about 24 washes yesterday with some help of the salesgirl... It is a dark chocolate brown, kindof chesnut brown I guess.

I just posted a recent pic of a friend and I (it's the last photo of my bio photos) that shows my colour accurately. Do you girls think I should go for it? I already did a strand test and as much as I can tell from a dozen or so hairs I like the colour. With my fair skin do you think such a dark colour would wash me out? TIA

i think the dark color would make you look exotic!  when i see girls with fair skin and light eyes and a bold dark brown hair color, it makes them look realyl hot! think Adriana Lima, Kate Bekinsale, Nicky Hilton, Britney (in her good ol days when she had her real hair). Go for it its only 24 washes anyway! :)

I think you should go for it.  Then if you like it, do a permanent color.  You might even think about putting a few caramel colored highlights with it.

I think your current hair color is absolutely gorgeous....However, going dark would make your eyes pop a lot!  and would look beautiful.  I say go for it!
