NWR: I'm going to the Emmys

...well the craft Emmy's, but still it should be fun! I'm going with my dad since my mom will be out of town. The problem is, I have NOTHING to wear. I have a beautiful long black formal dress, but I am quite certain it is not going to fit since I have gained weight since the last time I wore it BLAH!! Now I have to pull an outfit together soon, but I don't want to spend a lot of $$$ since my size will hopefully be decreasing in the months to follow. Anyone seen any good deals out there for formal wear?

first of all, HOW exciting! yay! I get to go to the SAG awards and get giddy! Lots of fun! Check out Loehmans or Filenes Basement or Ross and places like that. You'd be surprised at the nice things they have! One year for the SAG Awards I got a Nanette Lepore corset type tube top for $50 and matched it with a nice black satin type pencil skirt. I went to the MAC counter to get my make up done. And just straightened my hair and put it half up half down ala 60's mod style and my coworkers thought i was one of the actors! haha. (Back when i was fit). Just go to these stores with patience and it'll pay off. I'm so excited for ya!
