Ok ladies I have set the date to stop smoking. It is 11-24-09, my granddaughters first birthday. As many of you know she has stopped breathing on us a few time, needing to be hospitalized. I would not be able to forgive my self if i was in any way responsible for this. I do not smoke around or near her, but smoke does linger in furniture, drapes, etc etc.

I have been a smoker for 30 yrs so it will not be easy. I have tried b4 and failed. This time i am using medication and I hope a strong support system.

So, please keep me in your daily prayers that I suceed. I want to give my kids the Christmas gift of me. A new me.

I am a very strong believer of prayers!!! So please send a few up for me!!!

Nova i am in the same boat as you. I have been smoking since I was 14. NAd I will be 26 next month, theonly time I stopped was when I was pregnant. And I started back the day he was born. I have given myself a date of 12/17/2009 my 26 th b-day.

I have made it through my first day with out cigarettes. i have not had a craving all day. This med really works!!!!
