My friend Chris found three kittens, born to a neighborhood feral cat, in their backyard five weeks ago and took them in.  They managed to find a home for two but still have one left.  She’s black and about 8-9 weeks old based on our neighbor’s estimate.  She’s very playful and likes to interact with people and other cats.  Are you or any of your friends looking for a kitten or cat?  My friends would keep her, but they are both allergic.  We’d like to avoid bringing her to a shelter if possible.

Hi I'm Margaret's friend Chris, the one who has the kitten.

We're still looking for a home for Freddie (named her that before we could tell if she was a boy or girl).  She's about 3 months old now.  My allergies aren't getting any better and our pet Cockatiel (bird) has to stay in her cage now whenever Freddie is in the house, so we're hoping to find someone soon.

The pictures Margaret posted and some more new ones are at: http://picasaweb.google.com/cbareng/Kitten?authkey=Gv1sRgCPr43f32wMvCSA#

Let me know if you're interested!

Yogiswife - Chris is extremely allergic to cats so he can't keep him in the long run.

We'd love to keep her, but like Margaret said I'm allergic.  We also have a small pet bird, so having a cat around isn't safe for the bird.  The kitten  sometimes jumps up and swats at the bird's cage.
