nwr: need help for a anniversary gift for my FI

Hey girls,

Our two year anniversary is in a week and a half. I need help deciding what to get him. I'm thinking something along the lines of a "Travel Journal" for us. He loves my writing and says i should be a childrens book writer so I'm thinking a journal would be good. I'd tell the stories of our travels. So far we've done quite a bit and i was thinking of memorizling it in said journal. Should I do this? Or is there something else i can tie in our travel stories? Last year I made him a small scrapbook memorializing some of the highlights of our first year together. help i need ideas! Also, it can't be anything online since its so soon!

I think that is a cute idea, if you have the stories written already. Also, Kinkos can do binding really quickly, so you could get it bound and everything, and leave blank pages to fill in later on as well!

I think the journal is a really nice idea. You should do it!

you could start a travel scrapbook with spaces for journal - that way you can have your writing plus add photos, maps, postcards, ticket stubs, etc.

ohh good kinkos idea! oh and no i dont have them written yet but i can get it done in time. i'll hunt for a journal today. i think ive seen some nice leather ones at Barnes and Noble.

PaperSource has a book binding section...you can choose blank hard covers and then sort of like "prebound" pages....but then you create your own "look"
