.... for my daughters 2nd birthday. haha. we are doing a barnyard themed party! her bday is at the end of feb, and here in PA that is peak blizard season, so it will be inside. im making this awesome cake, that i already made a mock of to see if i was capable of making it. (im baking-challenged) it turned out faaabbb!

heres the inspiration: (and mine looked almost identical)
for my daughters 2nd photo 3439688-1

the party is going to be from 2-4/5ish, so i know i dont have to "feed" anyone a meal. i want to do "farm" snacks. my ideas so far:
-chicken salad (duh, chickens)
-pigs in a blanket (duh, pigs)
-deviled eggs
-"farm fresh veggie tray" (aka-prepackaged, store bought haha)
-"hay" which will just be a basket of pretzel sticks with a horse poking out of it (hay is for horses, get it?!)

but i am neglecting sheep. i saw "lamb lolipops" but that sounds waaaay to extravegant for something like this, and i am the only one who likes lamb haha. then i thought i could do cotton candy "wool", but..ehhh, cotton candy.im the mean mom who trys to avoid snacks like that at all cost! and this is going to be a family/god parent only party, so besides Mya, my neice who is a few months older will be the only kids there. (we are waiting to have a kid party until she is old enough to appreciate a party. too much stress for me, and she doesnt care yet!)

any creative ways of incorporating "sheep/lambs" in this without using the actual meat?

and any other cute snacks are welcome too!

TIA!!

I was going to say, rice krispy treats could be rice krispy sheeps! hehe. What about some little finger sandwiches? You could call them hay bales, or something!

My friend made "haystacks" which are the thin, stick pretzels dipped in melted chocolate. You stagger them to make a little nest and then add a few peanut m&ms. Could be a barn owl nest.... ostrich eggs.... chicken eggs.

My friend did a trailmix bar as the "party favor" which would be great in your case since the adults and the handful of kids would all be able to enjoy it. And it is healthy....
