ok so we're all accustomed to the wedding indutstry sticker shock right?? but what else have you gone "omg-- THAT costs how much???"

i went to  that store "relax the back" yesterday and fell in loooove with a memory foam office chair that had more adjustments than any "executive chair" i'd ever seen - i was so happy to find it!

so them i'm thinkin - ok this shit probably runs about 6 or 700 bucks, right?? NOPE!  that shiznit was almost $2K!!!

i'm gonna talk to my boss today and see how much the company will subsidize---i really want it!!

i know!!  i really want a "good" office chair tho - especially with my back problems.. i also looked at a "saddle" chair - which (compared to the one i want that is $2K) is "only" $500 - so i may get that...

haha I currently have 2...

1) Funiture!!!  We need some stuff for our new place and Im blown away how much things cost- I feel like we'll never get what we need! Even Target and something I want- and I think its WAY overpriced- esp if its crappy- ridiculous! haha sorry

2) Brides hair & makeup- I know its wedding related, but its still pissing me off...  I feel bad saying this but I haven't even seen much I have really liked for the money, nor do brides really look "better" then the BM hair/makeup so why is it double- even triple, plus traveling, etc. ahhhhhhh

- HMM :)

totally agree!!  i feel like all i'm ever gonna be able to afford (ie not charge and just pay cash) is the crap from ikea.. i mean it's stylish - but it's particle board...

re the makeup----> yeah i dont understand the pricing behind that - it's the same makeup and application for a bride?? i mean, i'm thinkin to the mua - a face is a face is a face - doesnt matter whose face right??

and i've always thought the retail cost of clothing is stupid!  i wonder what the margin is...  this is why i very rarely buy full retail - b/c the price that it is on clearance is more in line with what i think it's "worth"...

omg when we were starting to furnish our condo there were no window coverings on any of the VERY large and plentiful windows.  at first when viewing the place the windows were a plus...now i hate all the money we're spending on covering them and we can't even take them with us when we move b/c the dimensions are so specific.  i'm getting angry again just thinking about is b/c JCP has messed up our order so many times too on top of the ridiculous prices.  ya i'm calling them out.

i literally cried at how much money we spent on the coverings..... waaaayyyy more than anything else we had bought, including our furniture, and washer/dryer and refridgerator!!!! (not all together but individually).  it's like watching your hard-earned money go down the drain. sheeesh, deep breath sandra.

I only buy when I can get that whole no interest for 6 months, 12, or 18!!!  I can't afford to drop $3-$6 so that works for me.  We bought our tv and computer from best buy for like $4k and I had it paid off by the 18 months...We have a friend who pays cash for everything and he is a waiter so he has a LOT of cash on him, but then he is kinda hurting after.....I know credit isn't good and ppl say if you can't afford it, don't buy it - but this is how I do! :)

I'm currently remodeling my master bath at my house and have been looking at tubs, faucets, sinks, toilets, etc. Even the ugly ones are expensive and there are too many choices. I liked this one faucet and it was $1000, WTF, to wash your hands?

Lets face it ladies, with the economy the way it is, no matter what you buy, prices will be higher than they used to be.

We are remodeling our new house and the money we are spending is ridiculous. UGGGHHH!!!
