NWR: Stupid Hurricane

So yeah this weekend to the beginning of the week, we are planning for a hurricane. Awesome. This is the projected path

Now the good thing is, this looks like it will hit the Louisiana/Texas border. BUT that leaves where I live on the bad side of the storm.

So ladies - please pray that this doesn't get to be a strong storm. I can't afford to evacuate LOL. Ok it's not funny cause it's true. But keep us Louisiana and Texas girls in mind over the next few days!!!!!!!!

PS I think hurricanes are stupid if I didn't already express that :)

Ugh!  Noooooo :-(  I'm supposed to meet with my reception hall lady on Monday at South Padre Island!   We need to book our reception hall but they wouldn't let us go any earlier than 6 months and Monday is the only day I could go.  Please no hurricane!!

Holy cow! I guess I need to watch the news more often. I had no idea there was one headed our way, Tara! I guess DH and I need to go stock up on batteries and flashlights and games. lol If you have to evacuate, you and Kyle can come shack up in our tiny apartment with us. :)

fingers crossed!  you guys stay safe.  we used to ride hurricanes and tornados out all of the time when we used to live in tx...it's funny now but they're scary!

Keep it away from Florida too... sorry Mexico, but it looks like we are willing it your way!

OMG, I didn't know there was a huricane coming.  I need to start watching the weather again.  I keep forgeting that we are in Hurricane season.  I hope it doesn't hit you or it is died down by then.
