What is everyone doing for the holiday? My dad is coming home from VA and asked if we could do an early Thanksgiving at our house on Wednesday.

Can someone give me the link to the ornament exchange ?

DH and I are having dinner at home, and might have his coworker and wife join us. I bet you are excited for your Dad to be coming home.

Are you looking to host an ornament exchange?

Well, my mom and step-father are planning to go to see my mom's parents in SC, so my usual Thanksgiving that involves the 5 of us is off the table. As it's just going to be me, FI, and our daughter we voted on an alternate menu. Are we supposed to post it? I will, just to be safe. =P

Roasted Garlic Petite Tender Beef Filet

Rosemary Red Potatoes

Homemade Mac & Cheese

Green Bean Casserole

Sautéed Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Banana Pudding

We're going to be fat and happy! Then we're planning to decorate the Christmas tree.

Oh Star, that sounds AWESOME!!!  Yummo!!!

Yum! That does sound good.

Yes, I am excited to see him and my brother.
I have 5 siblings, so by the time they bring their SOs, it is a houseful!

We are having Turkey, Pork Loin, Potatoes Au Grautin, Dressing, Butternut Squash and Green Bean Casserole.

I was thinking there was an ornament exchange going on, but maybe not.

Your menu sounds good too!   Were you thinking there was an ornament exchange going on here or were you going to have one at your house?

Our first meal will actually be Wednesday; DH and I are having dinner with his grandparents, and I'm in charge of cooking.  I'm making a shepherd's pie with ground beef instead of lamb, buttered rosemary yeast rolls, and some side, though I'm not sure what (if any of you ladies have ideas, let me know!).

Our second meal will be Thursday with my grandparents and possibly my mom and stepdad.  My grandmother has purchased a turkey and a ham that have already been cooked (she just has to heat it up in the oven), she will make green beans, and a cherry pie and an apple pie.  I am making dressing, more buttered rosemary yeast rolls, and roasted veggies (a variety of potatoes, sweet potatoes, zucchini, carrots, and onions).
