NWR: Winter storm, ready to get snowed in with DH!

Great advice Bridie! The thing I'm most worried for is losing power and pipes freezing! People around here are going crazy. Supermarkets are bare and even gas stations are out of gas! 

Nicole, I know what you mean. I am 1.5 - 2  hours from you and we are shut down up here. Roads are being closed and shelters are already being opened.

Well, keep in touch as best as you can.

Nikki, no we are not that far from each other.  I actually have family in MA.  That is what I am worried about - losing power.  My hubby is supposed to be flying out for a business trip on Sunday late afternoon with his boss and owner of the company, but the way this storm is going, I'm not sure they will be able to.  They're supposed to fly out of JFK in NYC. 

Let's just pray that it doesn't get as bad as they are forecasting.  I have our emergency kit, kerosene heater, blankets galore and other necessities for JUST IN CASE.
