Hi!

I think you're the one who had used a band of some sort for after your c-section? I was wondering what that was? I have a planned c-section in February. I didn't use one for my first c-section, but putting pressure on the incision definitely helped so I'm thinking of getting one. I tried to google it but wasn't sure... Can you help?

Sorry if I got the wrong person! Or can anyone else chime in?

TIA!

I didn't have a c-section, but I had a band called Shrinx (maybe Shrinkx) from BRU.  I really liked it.  My back felt really wobbly and hurt some, and having that band on really tight felt soooooo good.  And its supposed to shrink your hips down too.  I used it for 3 months.

Yep that was me. Oh man it was a life saver!! They tell you to put pressure with your hand when you walk and it really does help but it's hard to get good, even spread pressure with just your hand. I will see if I can find the one I used. The nurses were very impressed with it because it was softer and better than the ones they had seen before.

I'll see if I can dig up a link. Oh and ask your doctor because the nurses would only put it on me with him permission. Luckily I had asked him before hand.

Ah hah! Found it. The abdomend belt. Did the job for me. There are other surgical support belts that are cheaper that might work I'm sure. But this is the one I got. I wore it even after I was healing to help try and tighten up. Kinda like if you have liposuction. They make you wear compression girdles to help the skin shrink back

That one looks excellent! I ended up using my bellyband after my girlfriend told me she used it with great success. It was so comfy and offered just that little bit of extra support that I needed.

Kelly you'd be surprised how much better it felt having it on! I know the sensitivity you're talking about, even just moving and your skin rubbing on your clothes or the motion of it juggling a bit was so painful. This eliminates all of that. It holds you in place so there's no friction or movement. It's a nice stretchy soft cloth. I needed help getting it on right cause I'd have to lay flat then have it pulled tight around. But it was such a relief once it was on right. Definitely worth every penny I spent on it
