I really need help in this area!  Our DJ is a DJ for a club in LA and has a great rock en esponal and salsa set (which is perfect for our younger crowd of friends), but FI is concerned about the older adults "not liking it or being offended."  I don't understand this, mainly because I can barely understand the words to the songs that I shake my booty too.  So please help with other music suggestions!!  I want everyone to have a great time and the last thing that I want is for people to be offended by the music.

in my opinion there is a song from Pitbull - I know you want it....for me is very offensive....the whole song is very offensive.

tell or ask your dj to give you a list of song he plans to play at the wedding, if he doesn't then you tell him that don't.

Thanks Boricua!  FI has already put that on the "do not play" list.

You should also have your DJ play something for every age group.

Does he have very religious or conservative Older guests attending? A good du should also have radio edits of popular songs that he could play that doesn't have the offensive language. I think most people at weddings focus on beats and tunes rather than lyrics. Fwiw I think that pitbull song is so fun but I don't pay attention to lyrics.
