hmmm I think it is more like with trousers. they often come unhemmed, so they go for all hights. before they had to make different lenghtes, so they avoid this. sorry , i hope you can solve the problem

I would argue that the bridal salon should pay for their mistake as well. However if that doesnt work then just ask the girls what they want to do. If they want to pay for the shortening of the gowns then ok if not then leave them as is. Sucks they would have to pay for the salons mistake though!

I would be so pissed! You asked for tea length, they should have stipulated that they were ankle length when you ordered them.  They're totally just trying to get more money out of you for alterations!

I wish we could just send these back and get the shorter ones....but it took 3 months for these to come in, there's no way we would have them back on time. I'm not sure if they are trying to get more money or not. There are two ladies that do a lot of alterations in this area and they work independently from the dress store. I'm just mad that this has to be a set back. I'm stressed and that's normal, I'm the bride. But I feel bad placing stress in my girls. But thank heavens they are being very cooperative. That's why I love them! So it sounds like we will be getting them all hemmed.

I appreciate all the input, advice, and thoughts :-)
