We've been living with my FH's parents while I have been finishing up my college career because it would be pointless for my FH to move out when I'm not there yet and it helped us to save up some money first... anyways we looked at an apartment this weekend that I honestly didn't think we would like. We live in the most expensive county in MD and need to stay here for my FH's job. I was shocked to find that we love the apartment and it's only $1,010 a month! It's only 709 square feet so we might step on each others toes occassionally, but we figure with what we save in rent/utilties we can buy a house sooner rather than later. We filled out an application about 5 minutes after looking and are now playing the waiting game to see if we qualify to their standards. I'm getting really excited but FH doesn't share in my current state of bliss because he doesn't want to be disappointed if we don't get it. We should know by Monday, Tuesday at the latest. I was just wondering how the heck you ladies were able to wait so long to hear the good/bad news!!!! It's killing me and it's only been half a day!

Hahaha Oh fingers crossed for you!  The wait IS really bad. . .oy.

But you guys are smart to land a smaller apartment and save up for a house - it will be SO worth it, even if you're a little cramped for a year or two.
