okay, more birdcage questions...

So I wasn't originally thinking of a birdcage but I've really liked the photos of them that I've seen. I don't know if I have the cheek bones to pull it off but if they worked out... can you (or y'all where we are, yikes!) help with a few questions?
1. What's the difference between the bandeau style (two pins) versus the authentic birdcage (one pin) in the way they sit on the face/head?
2. I broke out the "Sweet Home Alabama" tonight, not intending to be inspired, really loved her birdcage which is an authentic birdcage rather than the bandeau... but if it grazes the chin, how do you kiss at the end of the ceremony? And if, just if, he lifts it, wouldn't it mess with it and make it look funny and/or mess with your hair? Would it be best then to go for a nose length??
3. If I'm wearing a lace dress would the netting clash? I'm thinking squares versus floraly lace. I know floraly isn't a word... :)
4. Are they comfortable?? I'm thinking its going to be tickling my nose during the ceremony and I'm imagining this horrid sneezing fit!

I had one, so I think I can answer your questions.

1. Bandeau fits a little more securely around the head and allows you to adjust the veil to fit closer or further from your face. The authentic (one comb) allows the veil to be more away from the face.


2. The authentic does graze the chin, but it lifts easily with our messing up your make up especially since the authentic birdcage veil sits a bit further away from the face. This is the veil I had.

3. Whether you go with the chin length or nose length, it will not mess uo your make up or hair.

4. The netting will not clash with the netting. It will look awesome. Also you can always get a tulle birdcage veil. They look great as well.

5. They are comfortable. Mine was the authentic style. It sat away from my face and therefore, did not bother me.

My personal taste would be the tulle veil. I was looking at it in your bio earlier today and thought it was very romantic.

Soon2b..The tulle ones are great. I had a tulle birdcage veil that I had made last year. I gave it to a fellow Knottie that is getting married this month. She will wear it for her reception I believe.
